Rehabit SMARTCenter, LLC: Vaul Phillips, MD

Vaul Anthony Phillips, MD, of Rehabit SMARTcenter, LLC is an experienced, caring practitioner who enjoys listening to and spending time with his patients in Glenn Dale, Maryland. He received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville in 1989 and has since focused on helping patients find an effective treatment plan to help them thrive.
Before joining Rehabit, Dr. Phillips was an assistant professor and staff physiatrist at Howard University in Washington. He has lectured on a multitude of topics related to rehabilitation and integrative medicine and continues to serve correon the Medical Advisory Board for Maryland’s Department of Disabilities Determination. Dr. Phillips has also been trained in diagnostic ultrasound and spasticity management, among other medical treatments.
Dr. Phillips listens carefully to his patients and incorporates both traditional and homeopathic options into his treatment plans. He encourages his adult patients of all ages to advocate for themselves and explore a variety of techniques, strategies, and medications to facilitate their rehabilitation. He is kind, thorough, and willing to problem-solve with his patients to find the right treatment.
