Asem Abdeljalil

Dr. Asem Abdeljalil is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine specialist with Jackson County Pulmonary Medical Group in Independence, Mo. He is affiliated with Centerpoint Medical Center. Dr. Abdeljalil has more than 15 years of experience treating a wide variety of pulmonary and sleep conditions and currently serves as an associate professor of pulmonary medicine. He is the former associate program director in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and has received numerous awards of distinction for his academic achievements and community activities. Dr. Abdeljalil is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
