Mae K. Tighe, MD

Dr. Tighe has been practicing gastroenterology in Connecticut for more than 25 years. Educated at some of the nation_x2019_s top institutions, she is known state-wide for her exceptional patient care, teaching abilities and leadership in medicine. Past-president of the New Haven County Medical Association, current secretaryξof Danbury Hospital medical staff and recipient of the Father Rufin Compassionate Care Award, Dr. Tighe is well-versed in all aspects of healthcare. She is known for being a good listener and a thorough clinician, and has performed thousands of endoscopic procedures over her long career. She has spent years teaching colleagues and trainees in her field. Dr. Tighe enjoys running, reading and spending time with her family and has volunteered extensively in her community.
