Gary has more than 18 years’ experience in the financial services industry and has helped thousands of people work towards achieving their financial goals.
Under Gary’s leadership, Hurt & Associates Financial provides conservative insurance and investment strategies that help lead individuals and families toward their ideal retirements. While the company focuses on retirement planning, Gary throughout his career has helped facilitate life and disability income insurance, long term care planning and medicare supplement planning for individuals and businesses.
Gary finds it deeply rewarding to take the complexities of a family's finances and translate those issues into something clear and understandable. He believes his success rests in empowering his clients to understand their financial goals as they achieve them.
Gary holds his Series 65 securities registration and life, accident and health insurance licenses. He is also a Registered Investment Adviser.
Having lived in Southern Idaho for the last 47 years, Gary has been married to his wife Becky for 37 of those years. They are blessed to have three children, Tiffany, Gabe, and Jed, and a total of ten grandchildren. When he’s not in the office, Gary enjoys the many outdoor opportunities that the great northwest affords, spending time with his family, and spending time in Alaska.
