Rachel Sievert

After rigorous medical training at institutions both in and out of state, Dr. Sievert is excited to return to Texas to provide excellent care to the women of Houston and its surrounding communities. Dr. Sievert is experienced in general obstetrics as well as minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and procedures. She is passionate about treating women for a variety of obstetric and gynecologic conditions, with additional interests in adolescent health and contraception. Dr. Sievert values the unique relationships she is able to develop with her patients throughout their lives, from guiding young women through initial anxieties regarding their health or pregnancy to navigating the transition into menopause with someone sensitive to their needs.Dr. Sievert earned her bachelor?s degree in Liberal arts honors in her home town of Austin at the University of Texas where she graduated summa cum laude. She then attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, before choosing a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the nationally renowned program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is currently a Junior Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.When not at work, Dr. Sievert enjoys creative home projects and exploring new places, whether locally in Houston or abroad.
