Hello ! My name is Dr. Sheila Hume and MediFriendNC is my personal, professional, patient advocate business. As such, I assist clients in navigating our current, complex healthcare system to ensure that that person gets the best care available to them.
This advocacy practice is perfect for loved ones whose family lives far away and cannot be there for much of the time.
As an advocate, I can accompany the client/patient to all provider encounters and work diligently to make sure that their voice is heard and all questions answered, as well as ask pertinent questions myself and to provide careful documentation of these visits.
Medication reviews as well as other services can be performed.
