Salon founder, Detlev Gessner has more than thirty years of experience in hair design and color. In February 2013, Detlev Gessner opened Detlev Salon & Spa in Coconut Grove. It is the only Aveda Lifestyle Salon in the Miami area. The success of the new salon and spa sparked Detlev's desire to offer the Aveda Lifestyle Salon experience to all of his clients, so in September 2013, Detlev merged his Gables Hair Studio into the Detlev Salon & Spa in Coconut Grove.
