About Dr. Arun
Anuradha Arun, MD, opened PrimeCare Medicine in Silver Springs, Maryland, in 2004 so she could provide health care with compassion. Dr. Arun believes in the importance of building a relationship with each and every one of her patients as it helps establish trust, which improves patient care. Appointments at PrimeCare Medicine aren’t rushed, so Dr. Arun has the time to listen to patient needs and conduct thorough and detailed examinations.
PrimeCare Medicine is focused on making sure patients get the care they need and deserve, beginning with prevention followed by medical management or cure. Areas of specialty include diabetes, hypertension, gout, lupus, and fibromyalgia. Dr. Arun also offers a medical weight-loss program to help those struggling to lose the weight. For convenience, same day appointments are available, as well as an on-site lab for bloodwork.
Dr. Arun received her medical degree from Annamalai University in India then completed her internal medicine residency at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Arun completed coursework to become a Certified Medical Director from the American Medical Directors Association (AMDA).
