Steven Maislos, MD

Dr. Maislos is committed to ensuring his patients receive the best urologic care. He treats men, women, and children for a wide variety of general and specialized urologic ailments with a special interest in minimally invasive therapeutic options for urologic diseases. Dr. Maislos brings a unique perspective and set of skills to providing care for his patients.

Dr. Maislos completed his undergraduate education at Yale University, medical training at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston, and his residency in urology at State University of New York at Downstate (affiliated with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center). He also completed a fellowship in robotic, laparoscopic, and minimally invasive urologic surgery at Urology San Antonio.

In his dedication to community outreach, Dr. Maislos provides free prostate cancer screenings and lectures at numerous organizational meetings to increase awareness about prostate cancer and the minimally invasive treatments available. He also serves as a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Health Committee.
