Though Sun & Ski Sports came to North Conway only recently, its roots run much deeper than that. In 2010, Sun & Ski Sports purchased Joe Jones Shop, a staple for skiing and snowboarding equipment since the early 1950s. Created by Joseph A. Jones and his wife Ruth N. Jones, the Joe Jones Shop became an icon in the northeast skiing community by providing quality service for their customers. In 1968, the store moved to its current location off Mechanic and Main Street. Sun & Ski Sports acquired Joe Jones in 2010, wanting to leverage their connections within the skiing and snowboarding industry to better help customers in the New England market. By leveraging their connections, Sun & Ski Sports is able to provide a full-service ski and board shop along with all of the essentials to make sure you have an unforgettable adventure.
