Adam Shoman, MD, FACOG, and the caring team at Elite OBGYN proudly provide women in and around Hackensack, New Jersey with outstanding service in obstetric and gynecologic medicine. With an emphasis on patient comfort and dedication to staying current with the latest advances in medicine, Dr. Shoman provides exceptional care to women of all ages.
After completing his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Dr. Shoman gained expertise in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgeries. Aside from clinical work, Dr. Shoman teaches minimally invasive gynecologic procedures to physicians all over the world. He uses state-of-the-art technology, including the da Vinci® robot system, for minimally invasive hysterectomies and other procedures.
At Elite OBGYN, Dr. Shoman and his team treat a full spectrum of women’s health conditions, from endometriosis to uterine fibroids. He also manages both high- and low-risk pregnancies, including vaginal birth after C-section (VBAC).
Dr. Shoman is affiliated with Hackensack Meridian Health. He’s also a member of the Bloodless Program for people who can’t receive a blood transfusion.
