Howard Bar-Eli, MD

Howard Bar-Eli, M.D., specializes in orthopedic surgery following trauma, such as injuries sustained in a fall or accident. He has unique expertise and training to treat complex orthopedic problems related to the bones, joints and soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments). Comprehensive treatment plans include early stabilization of fractures, preservation of nerves, blood vessels and soft tissue loss and aggressive rehabilitation. The goal of treatment is to heal fractured bones and restore the anatomic alignment of joint surfaces to return patients to maximum function. Dr. Bar-Eli served as chief resident during his residency and has been published in a textbook and orthopedic journals to enhance the efficacy of treatments and improve patient outcomes. He was also involved as a team physician for Rutgers University and multiple high school football teams during the season in New Jersey.
