Our Hematology and Oncology Institute at St. Mary's is backed by all the resources of Rochester Regional Health, and collaborates with specialists in medical oncology, hematology, and radiation oncology at the Lipson Cancer Institute. We use leading-edge technology to diagnose and treat patients with cancers of the liver and bile ducts, upper and lower gastrointestinal tract (esophagus, stomach, colon, rectum), pancreas and spleen, as well as visceral, retroperitoneal and extremity sarcoma and melanoma.

Our physicians use preoperative chemotherapy and radiation therapy treatments prior to surgery.
