Women throughout Borger and the greater Texas Panhandle area can get comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care with Tanay Patel, MD, FACOG. Dr. Patel a member of Borger Obstetrics and Gynecology and welcomes new and existing patients to the practice.
After earning his bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University in Columbus, Dr. Patel obtained his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica.
Dr. Patel then went through both his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brooklyn Hospital in New York. He’s currently board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Patients of Dr. Patel appreciate his thoughtful and personalized approach to medicine. He’s fully committed to the health and well-being of each of his patients. With his expertise in normal to high-risk pregnancies, Dr. Patel can care for patients through prenatal and delivery periods, all the way through postpartum stages.
Dr. Patel provides holistic patient-centric care, where women are involved in every step of their health care. He spends time educating his patients on any underlying or chronic illnesses, so they can make well-informed decisions about their treatment.
Fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi, Dr. Patel can communicate with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. He offers flexible scheduling throughout the week and same-day appointments, even for new patients.
