Evan Gaines, MD

Evan B. Gaines, MD, is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with Northeast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (NEOSM). He is Board eligible through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Gaines also provides care to athletes at all levels of sport, including on-field management of athletes at multiple local high schools.

Dr. Gaines completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Buffalo (UB). During that time, he provided care as an assistant team physician for the Buffalo Bills and support for the Buffalo Sabres, as well as the UB basketball and football teams. His residency in orthopedic surgery was completed at State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center. He received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and a bachelor’s degree in cognitive science from the University of Rochester.
