Hamza Malek, MD

Dr. Malek brings years of experience as a neurology resident and neuromuscular fellow to Canton-Potsdam Hospital. A graduate of Wayne State University and McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, Dr. Malek's personalized approach to neurological care helps patients recognize symptoms and understand what is happening to them so that each patient is empowered to make decisions about their treatment.

As a specialist in neuromuscular diseases, Dr. Malek treats patients with Parkinson Disease, MS, epilepsy, as well as common neurologic complaints such as problems with memory, numbness, and speech issues.
