David Dyslin, MD, FACS

Selected as Living Magazine's Best Bariatric Surgeon in 2018, David Dyslin, MD, FACS, is a board-certified surgeon specializing in bariatric and general surgery. Dr. Dyslin is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Dyslin has a passion for performing robotic and laparoscopic surgeries using the latest technology in bariatric surgery. He offers comprehensive care for weight loss, hernia repair and reflux at his practice in North Texas.
Dr. Dyslin is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, and has been practicing in North Texas since 1997. His surgical expertise includes robotic and laparoscopic surgeries for effective weight loss, hernia repair, and anti-reflux. He uses an individual-centered approach, involving you in every step of the decision-making process. He enjoys building a long-term relationship to enhance the overall outcome of your care.
After receiving an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, Dr. Dyslin earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed both his internship and residency at The University of Texas at San Antonio. He is an active member of the Texas Surgical Society and holds a Texas state medical license.
When not performing surgery, Dr. Dyslin loves training his labrador retriever, Rowdy. He also enjoys spending time with his young adult son and daughter. To relax, Dr. Dyslin goes outdoors, participating in shooting sports and fishing along the Texas coast. Through his church, Dr. Dyslin also performs medical mission trips to Central America.
