Dr. May’s office has the only advanced 3-D disinfection root canal equipment in Jefferson City and Columbia, Missouri. Some dentists have specialized equipment that only assists with diagnosis, but the Photon Induced Photo-Acoustic Streaming laser used by Dr. May uses removes over 99% of bacteria, germs, and pulp tissue in the root canal. Root canal specialists (Endodontists) are the only trained dentists who are skilled in root canal treatment. If a root is treated without the PIPS laser or GentleWave, then, germs, bacteria, and tissue will be sealed in the root canal filling/space. Dr. May DDS offers to retreat or perform surgery if his root canal fails on an original treatment of a tooth in the first year at no charge.
