Jose Tschen, MD

After graduating from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine, Dr. Tschen received his Fifth Pathway certificate from New York Medical College. He then completed his General Surgery training at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California, followed by a fellowship in Colon and Rectal surgery with The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. American College of Surgeons, American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Tschen enjoys auto racing and mechanics, as well as tennis. Dr. Tschen enjoys a good steak, tres leches cake and movies starring Chris Pratt or Jennifer Lawrence. His role model was his father. The best advice he’s ever received was, “work hard.”
