Robert Zimmerman, MD

Dr. Robert Zimmerman is a board-certified radiation oncologist and is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, and the American College of Radiation Oncology. He has extensive experience with high-dose rate implants for gynecologic cancers and prostate brachytherapy with permanent seed implants, as well as being an early adopter of CT-guided intensity-modulated radiation therapy using the TomoTherapy Hi-Art system®. Dr. Zimmerman has done extensive research in cancer treatment and was the recipient of an American Cancer Society Clinical Oncology Fellowship and a Radiological Society of North America Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award. His scientific research work has resulted in numerous publications and presentations.
