David Catalano, MD

Dr. David Catalano is a board-certified radiation oncologist at InterCommunity Cancer Center in Lady Lake, FL. Dr. Catalano became a radiation oncologist after seeing his first radiation patient in college. He considers it a dream come true to be able to offer an alternative to radical surgical removal with higher cure rates and fewer side effects. Prior to joining InterCommunity Cancer Center, he spent several years on the west coast as Assistant Professor of Radiation Sciences at Loma Linda University. In 2008, Dr. Catalano relocated to central Florida, where he started Radiation Medicine Physicians. He co-owned and ran the Radiological Institute of The Villages until 2016, when he moved his practice to Intercommunity Cancer Center full time. Dr. Catalano has received an American Cancer Society Fellowship Award and is a fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology.
