Richard Byrd, MD, FAAP

Dr.​ Richard Byrd is Chief of Pediatrics at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic.Dr. Byrd received both his undergraduate degree in pre-medicine and his medical degree from Texas A & M University. He completed his internship and residency at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Dr. Byrd is a member of the American M​edical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, Texas Pediatric Society, Harris County Medical Society and the Houston Pediatric Society. Dr. Byrd is married and has three children. He enjoys reading and hiking and participates in medical mission work.
