Melanie Williams, MD

Following graduation from Louisiana State University in 2013, Dr. Williams began a residency with Texas Children’s Hospital. During her time there, she spent one month caring for pediatric HIV patients in Malawi in southeastern Africa. She also has experience working with underserved patients with complex medical and psychosocial conditions. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2016. Dr. Williams is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Williams enjoys working with the community. She has volunteered her services at camps for kids with special needs, with mobile clinics to provide medical services to uninsured students and in a program that partnered medical students with pediatric oncology patients. Dr. William’s favorite meal is sushi. The most exotic travel experiences she’s had occurred when she worked in Malawi and when she traveled to Thailand. Her favorite medical television show is “Grey’s Anatomy.”​​
