Abimbola Sokunbi, MD

After completing her residency at University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio in June 2012, Dr. Sokunbi began working for IPC Healthcare as an Internal Medicine hospitalist in an acute care hospital. Dr. Sokunbi also worked in Pediatric Medicine for IPC Healthcare.​ Dr. Sokunbi is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physicians, the Society of General Internal Medicine, the American Medical Association and the National Medical Association. Dr. Sokunbi, who is married with two children, loves cooking and do-it-yourself projects Dr. Sokunbi likes to relax by watching HGTV. Her role model is her mother. She said the best advice she learned growing up was “Whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well.”
