Jorge Velez, MD

After earning his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine, in Washington D.C., Dr. Velez completed an internship in general surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and completed his residency in Family Practice at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital, in Miami, Florida. He completed fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Velez is an active member of the American Academy of Family Practitioners, the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, and the American College of Sports Medicine.​​
