Joshua Leif, OD

A native New Yorker, Dr. Leif graduated in 1994 from Union College in Schenectady, NY, with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He continued his education at the State University of New York-State College of Optometry in New York, New York, earning his Optometry Doctorate in 1999.Dr. Leif’s extensive Optometric training includes internships at the State University Optometric Center in New York City and externships at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Campus of the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System in Montrose, New York and the Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx. Since 1999, he has practiced primary care Optometry in Houston. In 2002, Dr. Leif earned his Optometric Glaucoma Specialist certification at the University of Houston, allowing him to diagnose and manage glaucoma. When he’s not caring for his patients, Dr. Leif enjoys spending time with his wife and two​ sons. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoys watching sports and playing golf and softball.​​
