Marjorie Broussard, MD

Dr. Broussard worked as the resident physician in the Baylor College of Medicine’s Family and Community Medicine Department from 2006-2009. She also cared for patients in private practices as a primary care physician for both adults and Pediatrics in Houston and in Alexandria, La. Dr. Broussard is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians and the Harris County Medical Society.​ Dr. Broussard enjoys running, cooking and playing golf. As a young girl, Dr. Broussard wanted to be an engineer and follow in her father’s footsteps. Then she had the opportunity to visit a local hospital as a high school student. She was deeply impressed with what she witnessed nothing that the students, residents, and physicians served a critical role in patient care, and how medicine was the perfect marriage of science and serving humanity. She knew at that moment that she didn’t want to do anything else but practice medicine for the rest of her life.
