Angelica Higgins, MD

After graduating Magna Cum Laude fromPrairie View A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1994, Dr. Higgins earned her medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn. In 1999, she went to The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston for her residency in Pediatrics, which she completed in 2002. Dr. Higgins is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the National Medical Association and Texas Pediatric Society. She's also a member of the Houston Medical Forum, Mary Susan Moore Society, Harris County Medical Society and the American Medical Association.​ Dr. Higgins enjoys singing in the Mission choir at church, exercising at the gym, traveling and spending time with family.​
