J. Xavier Castillo, MD

Dr. Castillo graduated from Meharry Medical College in Nashville in 1981. He completed his residency at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan before completing a Master’s degree in Public Health and his residency in General Preventive Medicine at Loma Linda University in California. Dr. Castillo completed fellowship training in Occupational Medicine at West Virginia University, Morgantown. Dr. Castillo is a member of theAmerican College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, American College of Preventive Medicine, American College of Lifestyle Medicine, Harris County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association. When he’s not caring for patients at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, Dr. Castillo enjoys spending time with his wife and playing racquetball and baseball with his two sons.​​
