Elmira Rakhmatulina, MD

After receiving her Doctor of Medicine Degree from Omsk State Medical Academy in Omsk, Russian Federation in 2007, Dr. Rakhmatulina completed a residency at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston in the department of family and community medicine in 2016. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in August of 2016. Dr. Rakhmatulina is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians and the Harris County Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Rakhmatulina enjoys traveling – especially to mountainous regions. She has seen the Swiss Alps, the Canadian Rockies and the seven-thousanders (mountain summits between 22,966 feet and 26,247 feet in elevation) of Tian Shan. She also enjoys sewing, baking and exercising. Dr. Rakhmatulina grew up in Siberia and her guilty pleasure is sweets, especially milk chocolate.​​
