Desiree Thomas, MD

​​​After graduating with Honors from The University of Texas at Austin in 1995, Dr. Thomas went on the medical school at Baylor College of Medicine. In 2001, she completed her internship at the college, and in 2004, she completed a Neurology residency at Atlanta’s Emory University. In 2005, she completed a Neurophysiology fellowship that focused in Electromyography. Dr. Thomas says she chose to be a neurologist because she had excellent mentors and her mom's history of intractable migraines. Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Association of Neurology. Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with her daughter and two sons. She enjoys reading, going to the movies and trying new Tex-Mex restaurants. She especially likes to travel and visit zoos in different cities.​​​
