Maher Daas, MD

​​​​Dr. Maher Daas is Chief of the Department of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. Dr. Daas earned his medical degree at Damascus University in Syria in 1987. He completed his internship and residency at Michigan State University in Kalamaoo in 1993. He followed up his training with a fellowship in Critical Care at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. In addition, he held a fellowship at The University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in 1997. Dr. Daas is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and American Academy of Sleep Medicine. When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Daas enjoys reading, walking and helping his children with their homework.
