At Total Recovery PT, we primarily base our treatment on manual therapy. What is manual therapy? It is a one-on-one, hands-on treatment approach using various techniques for soft tissue and joint mobilization/manipulation with the goal of decreasing pain and restoring mobility and function.

Traditionally, most health care practitioners treat the symptoms and as a result have a poor success rate in helping patients achieve their goals and return to normal function. When treating patients, we focus on the patients entire system versus just the area of complaint so that we address the root of the problem and not just the symptoms.
