Diana Fibison, MD

Diana Fibison, MD is an American Board of Family Medicine Certified physician, who her patients recognize as a caring, thorough, and talented family physician. Dr. Fibison first completed her medical degree at the University of Victor Babes Medical School in Romania. She extended her expertise as a Postdoctoral Fellow, specializing in otolaryngology, at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Fibison honed diverse skills with externships in Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. She further developed her medical expertise with multiple residencies in Family Medicine and in Neurology. 
Over the span of her career, Dr. Fibison has demonstrated her commitment to providing benefit to her communities as a volunteer physician for organizations such as the Medical Reserve Corps, and she has been a frequent public speaker. She was broadcast across all of Delaware on Channel 22 talking about the benefits of folic acid supplementation and ways to get the word out to the community. She was also featured in the Kidviews Meridian-Family Health Magazine where a patient shared a story about Dr. Fibison’s outstanding care. 
Dr. Fibison’s extensive skills and experience are evidenced by her numerous awards, including a Soros Award that funded a cardiovascular fellowship in Kaunas, Lithuania. Over the course of her career, Dr. Fibison has published many peer-reviewed articles in her field, and a peer-reviewed book. Some of her work includes publications in the Elsevier Journal Hearing Research. 
Dr. Fibison uses her commitment to excellence to prioritize her patients’ best interests and ensure that nothing slips through the cracks. She is fluent in French and Romanian and possesses a basic working knowledge of Spanish.
