Mark Bolton - Closed

Mark Bolton's practice focuses on representing corporations and trade associations on state legislative issues and assisting his clients in their interaction with Congress and federal agencies. Mark's work concentrates in the areas of energy, tax, telecommunications, transportation and health care. During Mark's career in government relations, he has effectively represented clients by drafting and ensuring the passage of complex legislation, and by stopping or modifying legislation contrary to clients’ interests. As an extension of his government relations practice, Mark assists clients in highly regulated industries with licensing and regulatory compliance matters, as well as in obtaining regulatory approvals for the structuring of major financings. Until recently, Mark served as senior deputy legal counsel and director of marijuana policy for Gov. John Hickenlooper of Colorado.
