At Southside Pediatric Center, experienced board-certified pediatrician Mary Catherine Arrieta, MD, CGP, provides exceptional care for children and expert support for parents. In the Petersburg, Virginia, office, Dr. Arrieta and the kid-friendly staff meet the needs of children from infancy through adolescence. 

With more than 40 years of experience, Dr. Arrieta is an extensively trained professional who maintains the highest level of pediatrics accreditation. She is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She completed her pediatric residency at Kings County - Downstate Medical Center and Catholic Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She also completed a fellowship in neonatology at New York University (NYU) - Bellevue Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
