About Chris Baarts

Ever since I moved to Colorado in 2008, I’ve believed that it’s a great place to call home. It’s one of several reasons I find my career with Caliber so fulfilling.

I began my financial services career a decade ago, working in retail banking. During this time I learned how to build valuable relationships with clients while helping them achieve their financial goals. I was recognized as a National Achiever for my production and customer service skills.

The opportunity to help clients call Colorado home was a driving factor in my career move to the mortgage business in 2015. I enjoy serving all types of borrowers, from first-time homebuyers to those buying an investment property or second home. I’m also a Caliber Military & Veteran Lending Professional (CMVLP) which means I’ve completed in-house training in VA loans and refinancing.

After several years exploring Colorado on my own, I met my wife Meghan. We enjoy camping, hiking, and the occasional ski trip with our two sons, and we are expecting our third child and first girl in June of 2018.
