Jean Jaffke, M.D.

As a leading general and colorectal surgeon practicing in Novi, Michigan, Jean Jaffke, MD offers a variety of in-office treatments and outpatient procedures to improve the gastrointestinal health of her patients.
She opened her self-titled colon and rectal surgery practice in 1999 and brings years of exceptional training and experience to her community. She offers compassionate and effective treatment for a variety of conditions including hemorrhoids, anal fistulas, pilonidal cysts, fecal incontinence, anal fissures, and more.
Dr. Jaffke was born and raised in Michigan. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Central Michigan University before going on to earn her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine. She served her residency in general surgery at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. Dr. Jaffke also completed prestigious fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Jaffke is double board-certified in general surgery and colon and rectal surgery. She’s also a member of a variety of medical societies including the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Jaffke enjoys spending time with her two beautiful daughters and outdoor activities including hiking, skiing, and kayaking. She has been a volunteer medical staff member for the Michigan Special Olympics for over 20 years.
