Plenty of Good was started in Crown Heights, Brooklyn in 2016. Gail Brill (of Gail Brill Design) inspired it all with the development and creation of the Macareigna – the Queen of Macaroons in Saranac Lake, NY in 2003. After thousands of cookies sold at holiday markets year after year, and an insatiable fan base in the mountains couldn’t get enough of them (often buying and freezing large batches of them to thaw out one at a time every night), expansion to NYC seemed inevitable in order to bring a little more sweetness to the world. Her son, Spencer, took the reigns and opened up shop in NYC to deliver the best coconut macaroons you’ve never had to a larger market, year round, staying true to the original recipe.
