Sound Institute

I've always dreamed of helping people of all ages, yet especially children. At Sound Institute, I teach piano and voice lessons starting at age 5 and up. It's always been my passion to instill the various musical skills I've acquired at Alcorn State University into my students. Over the past few years, I have discovered that music isn't the only thing I impart into the lives of my students. It's LOVE. Through love, my students learn essential skills that they may utilize in other areas of their life. Because of love, my music room has become an oasis for my students to come get away from the frustrations of "school life!" At Sound Institute, I push my students to achieve what they initially believed to be impossible! In doing that, their confidence and self-esteem increases! Students leave the studio believing in themselves, knowing they can accomplish whatever they put their mind to! That's what make me feel good about being a musical educator! Through music, my students learn about themselves, and they become ready to conquer whatever tasks come their way. Stimulating the creativity of students, and providing them with the essential tools to realize their highest potential is the foundation of my teaching. Let's Get Started!
