Midlife At Ease Counseling

Everyone wants to be happy and have a great relationship with oneself and others who are close to their hearts. By the age of 40 and into our 60s, we often expect ourselves to be fairly set for life having worked long hours in our early adulthood preparing for the future, perhaps starting or raising a healthy family, having a solid bond with an intimate partner, and navigating several ups and downs of life. Yet, these expectations do not always match the actual realities of experiencing middle-age life. This period can be a mixture of all types of identity changes and transitions that often cause chronic stress and relational conflicts.
