Sharon Hallman, PT, Physical Therapist

Sharon Hallman is a physical therapist at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She specializes in neurologic rehabilitation, geriatrics, falls/balance, prosthetics and orthotics, wheelchair seating and mobility. She treats patients with conditions such as brain injury, concussion, vertigo, ALS, movement disorders, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Muscular Dystrophy, spinal cord injury and stroke. Sharon also specializes in assistive technology.Sharon has been part of the University of Vermont nationally recognized and certified ALS clinic since its inception, and has developed and managed the UVMC Wheeled Mobility and Seating Clinic for over 30 years. She acts as a resource for other providers of this service throughout the state.Sharon believes that managing chronic neurological conditions requires attention to the unique but changing needs and priorities of each patient throughout their lifetime.
