Cascade Lighting began as a result of a request by a Director of Ohio Edison (a regional electric utility) for assistance in developing a sustainable landscape lighting program to be offered to their customers in 1996.

The basis for this strategic partnership was the 15 years of prior experience in the manufacture of outdoor lighting products, significant interaction with UL and attendance of in-depth lighting seminars by the founding Principal of Cascade.

With the development of a base of contractors, the program was launched. As time went on, independent area contractors began calling on Cascade Lighting due to the variety of material offered and that the material was in fact in stock for immediate purchase. With an internet website developed in 1998 and advertising, the company grew to establish a national footprint.

Cascade Lighting has developed solid partnerships with the most popular quality lighting manufacturers. We continue to search the industry for the most innovative up to date materials for quality dependable safe outdoor lighting systems.

As in the beginning, Cascade Lighting remains committed to delivering superior customer service. To that end Cascade maintains an extensive inventory of quality lighting products allowing the timely delivery of material to the contractor.
