With experience in both rural and urban school districts, the bulk of my time has been with at-risk children. Like most educators, I have seen an increased need for effective classroom management that truly changes behaviors and holds instruction paramount in the classroom. As I work with teachers to build content knowledge, I see that all the content expertise in the world doesn’t matter until teaching and learning are happening consistently and held in high regard. This is why I believe every educator needs to be motivated and inspired with practical, proven strategies they can take away and use effectively in their classrooms – immediately!
