Dr. Barrionuevo has extensive experience handling all aspects of gynecological care throughout every stage of a woman’s life. He handles everything from routine wellness exams and birth control to problems like endometriosis, fibroids, and the transition into menopause. When it comes to surgical solutions, Dr. Barrionuevo uses minimally invasive, laparoscopic techniques to reduce the risk wherever possible.

A native of Argentina, Dr. Barrionuevo completed his undergraduate and medical studies at Buenos Aires University School of Medicine in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This is also where he completed further training in obstetrics and gynecology.
After 10 years in private practice in Argentina, Dr. Barrionuevo moved to the United States where he completed the necessary medical requirements for the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates certification. The doctor also completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology, including robotic surgery, at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey.
Dr. Barrionuevo is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association.
