Michael J. Evans is an attorney with Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group. Mr. Evans was awarded a Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in San Diego, following his graduation from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. Over the past two decades, Mr. Evans has become a seasoned litigator, familiar with virtually every facet of litigation and has litigated numerous matters in the areas of family and matrimonial law. Mr. Evans devotes his practice exclusively to the area of family and matrimonial law and has represented clients in various complex cases involving contested and uncontested divorces, annulments, adoptions, child custody, alimony, child support, child removal from the state or country, post-judgment modification and enforcement matters, and domestic violence.

He has extensive experience handling matters at both the trial and appellate levels. Mr. Evans counsels clients in a variety of areas and has successfully negotiated, drafted and when necessary, sought enforcement or the setting aside of prenuptial, reconciliation, separation, and custody and parenting time agreements. Mr. Evans has significant proficiency with the complex issues surrounding children with special needs. He has also been appointed by the Superior Court of New Jersey to protect the interests of minors during matrimonial litigation.

Mr. Evans serves on the Passaic County Superior Court Early Settlement Matrimonial Panel. He has also served as a Parent Advisor for the New Jersey Catastrophic Illness in Children Relief Fund. Mr. Evans is a Commissioner for the Clifton Board of Education.
