Mission Basilica Catholic School

Mission Basilica School is a single grade school for students in Preschool – 8th Grade. The school is committed to providing an outstanding Catholic education as part of the rich tradition begun by its founder, St. Junipero Serra. Mission Basilica School teachers have developed a standard of excellence by providing a comprehensive and challenging Blue Ribbon curriculum. The school’s curricular goals are driven by critical thinking and problem solving in all areas as students are challenged to reach their full potential. This year the school incorporated some noteworthy programs such as STREAM, Writer’s Workshop, interactive online Spanish, and differentiated instruction in the classroom. Registration begins in early March. All students are required to take a grade specific assessment exam before registration or acceptance.The school’s Two-Year-Old Program provides a student-centered, play-based approach to educating the whole child.
