I chose to become an orthopedic surgeon because it’s a specialty that allows me to keep people moving. In this role, I see all types of fractures – from the most severe breaks to those that didn’t heal properly over time. It’s an incredible feeling to help patients recover from their injuries and see them get back to active lifestyles. My approach to care focuses on treating patients as though they were my own family and involving them in the decision-making process. I go into each surgery fully prepared for that particular situation and will always take the time to explain what’s to come with post-operative rehabilitation.
