My dad was a pediatrician and he inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. Like him, I wanted to go into a field that treated the whole person. This role really allows me to do that. It also gives me the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and conditions. Every patient has a unique situation and we have to work to put the pieces together and find the most successful course of treatment. In my experience, sometimes addressing the smallest issues can make the biggest difference.
