Gitane Patel, MD

Dr. Patel received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School. After completing an internship in General Surgery at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, he went to Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC for his residency in Ophthalmology.
Before Joining West Coast Eyecare, he completed a Fellowship training year at the Pepose Vision Institute in Chesterfield, Missouri, where he specialized in Cornea and Refractive Surgery. His interests include Laser Corrective Eye Surgery, corneal transplantation, and general ophthalmology.
